Friend– today marks just 100 days until Election Day.
Of the many things we’ve learned this summer, this crisis has shown us how much can change in such a short time. With COVID-19 cases on the rise again, 51 million Americans still unemployed, and the fight for justice being waged all across the country, the stakes of this election are so much higher than any of us could have foreseen just four months ago.
Doug has big plans for these next 100 days and beyond – he’s introduced a bill to bring medical manufacturing back to America, he’s working with elected officials to save lives and livelihoods, and he’s fighting for our priorities in the next COVID-19 relief bill. While he’s fighting for us, we need to fight for him.
In the past few weeks alone, our race has changed significantly. We finally found out who Doug’s opponent will be. Mitch McConnell’s attack network revealed exactly how far they’re willing to go to hijack Alabama’s election and keep Doug out of office – and it’s farther than we ever imagined.
They’ve already spent $3.5 million on attack ads lying about Doug, and with recent polling showing Doug surging despite their efforts, they’re going to come back with more.
Doug is running for unity – he won’t run lies about his opponent on TV, and he doesn’t have a network of deep-pocket attack dogs. But he has us – let’s keep our momentum up. Make a recurring monthly contribution for these last 100 days >>
Thank you for being a part of this.
–Team Doug
