As the coronavirus pandemic continues to grow in severity, another epidemic is also growing: gun violence.
Most other types of crime have fallen during the pandemic, but gun violence continues to increase.
Our country is facing a lot of crises right now and it can feel overwhelming at times, but we cannot let gun violence go unanswered.
That’s why it’s even more critical this year that we defeat Donald Trump and flip the Senate so we can pass universal background checks.
But in order to do that, organizations like ours need the resources to continue playing a pivotal role in swing states like Colorado, Iowa, and North Carolina where Senate candidates are leading in the polls.

We know it’s no secret that strong gun laws save lives.
But the NRA has spent years and millions of dollars persuading Republican members of Congress to block the very legislation that we are trying to pass.
It’s long past time that we replace the NRA’s top allies in Congress with gun safety allies of our own so we can pass laws that save lives.
