** Hello, friends.
------------------------------------------------------------

“When history is written the way it ought to be written, it will not be our ferocity, but rather, the moderation and long patience of the Twin Cities that will make people shake their heads in wonder.” North Minneapolis Chases Out ICE ([link removed])

In the days since Renee Good was murdered by ICE agent Johnathan Ross, popular resistance has swelled in Minneapolis-St. Paul. Solidarity protests have spread nationwide ([link removed]) . Many thousands locally have taken to the streets in protest, refusing to give way to fascist intimidation. Read our recent account ([link removed]) from protesters honoring Renee Good and another ([link removed]) from people responding to a second ICE shooting.

Even more consistently and commonly, people are taking to the streets in direct resistance to the daily operations of the 3,000 ICE agents deployed to the Twin Cities by Trump. A swath of rapid response neighborhood networks have been organized to mobilize residents in defense of their neighbors targeted by ICE. As our new article ([link removed]) describes, this rapid response model—in many ways tried-and-true—has stayed dynamic, innovating to address “the surge” of mercenaries.

To situate the Twin Cities response to Trump’s “surge” further, read our on-the-ground reports from protesters from June ([link removed]) and November 2025 ([link removed]) . To prepare for resistance to ICE/DHS in your own context, read a guide written last year by Chicago-area organizers: “When the Feds Come to Your City: Standing Up to ICE.” ([link removed])

** Spread the word
------------------------------------------------------------
[link removed]

We’ve just published a new poster ([link removed]) to spread a message in memory of Renee Good.

This is just one in a long series of killings carried out by ICE. Targeting immigrants is just their cover story—the true purpose of ICE is to serve as a secret police force in order to impose a totalitarian regime.

There is nothing more despicable than a person who is willing to kidnap and even murder his neighbors in return for a bribe. Mercenaries who are prepared to serve tyranny represent the most dangerous element in society. Those who hire themselves out to ICE are traitors to humanity.

By standing up to ICE, we open up the path to a better future, a world in which no one has to live in fear of militarized bounty hunters. No politician or political party will do this for us. Stop them before they kill again. ([link removed])

** Languages
------------------------------------------------------------

So far, this year we’ve added translations of articles to our website in Japanese ([link removed]) , Spanish ([link removed]) , German ([link removed]) , Portuguese ([link removed]) , Italian ([link removed]) , Russian ([link removed]) , Chinese ([link removed]) , Arabic ([link removed]) , Greek
([link removed]) , and French ([link removed]) . One recent article ([link removed]) appeared in eight languages within a week of its publication.

If you can help us with translation into any language, please get in touch!

** What We’re Doing
------------------------------------------------------------

All of our projects are copyright free. We distribute them for free, or else, where that is impossible, sell print versions for the costs of production and delivery alone. We've been doing this work continuously for fully three decades. If you want to help us expand the scope of our efforts, you can support our projects financially ([link removed]) .

Since this is an all-volunteer project and we take no compensation for ourselves, we can make a little go a long way. If you have the means, consider making a one-time or recurring donation to us. Above all, though, the very best thing you can do for us and for the world is to put the information and skills we offer to use in your own efforts to change the world for the better.

See you in the streets. ([link removed])
