Trump warns he has no "obligation to think purely of peace" after Nobel snub in unhinged letter to...Norway
America's wannabe dictator penned a thoroughly unhinged letter to the prime minister of Norway, wherein he explained that, because Jonas Gahr Støre's country "decided not to give [him] the Nobel Peace Prize", he was no longer obligated to "think purely of peace" in his imperial quest to take Greenland. Never mind the fact that the prime minister of Norway has ZERO say in awarding the annual prizes. Donald's narcissism is so malignant, his ego so remarkably fragile he's willing to blow up nearly 80 years of world order because he did not win a trophy. Truly incredible, mind-numbingly stupid, world-destabilizing stuff.

VIDEO OF THE DAY: Crowd cheers as heckler yells "LEAVE GREENLAND ALONE" at NBA game in London
A fan in London, England interrupted the US National Anthem before the start of an NBA game at the 02 Arena yesterday, shouting, "Leave Greenland alone!" triggering rousing cheers from a crowd clearly unimpressed with Donald Trump's imperial crusade to become some kind of 21st century king. And not for nothing, Americans back home aren't any more excited about the wannabe dictator's obsession to invade or abscond with Greenland, either. According to a new Reuters/Ipsos poll, a mere 17% of American adults approve of Trump's harebrained scheme and a staggering 96% say any attempt to take the island nation by force is a really bad idea.
Now, look. We all know Donald's a genius — he keeps acing those dementia exams his doctors keep giving him for some reason — but someone might wanna give the guy a math refresher. Yesterday's heckler might've been a single voice, but he's yelling for A LOT of people, both abroad and here at home.

Virginia voters can stop Trump’s election rigging — and level the playing field
Virginians For Fair Elections Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans are trying to rig the 2026 midterms by pressuring red states to redraw congressional maps behind closed doors — cutting voters out of the process and stacking the deck before a single ballot is cast. Virginia has a chance to do something different. A proposed, temporary constitutional amendment would give voters — not politicians — the final say. Under the amendment, proposed congressional maps would be made public, and Virginians would be able to review them and vote on them before any maps take effect. Now, Virginians for Fair Elections is launching a statewide effort to make sure voters know what’s at stake — and to ensure Virginia leads by protecting fair representation instead of following Trump’s rigged playbook. Will you chip in today to help level the playing field and defend our democracy?
Putin invited to join Trump’s "Board of Peace," Kremlin says
Any lingering questions anyone had about the seriousness or legitimacy of Donald Trump's absurd "Board of Peace" for the reconstruction of Gaza can be firmly put to bed now. One authoritarian despot fond of sabre-rattling and territorial indiscretion joining up with another under the inauspicious banner of delivering "peace" to a war-ravaged region is beyond parody. And the fact that you can interchange the principals in that previous sentence and it still makes sense really tells you all you need to know.

Stephen Miller says Minnesota state authorities ordered to "stand down and surrender" to federal officers as anti-ICE protests intensify
White House senior aide Stephen Miller's bone-chilling declaration that local and state law enforcement in Minnesota have been ordered to "stand down and surrender" is EXACTLY why we keep using the word "fascism" to describe the Trump regime's maniacal and methodical assault on democracy. Miller has previously called anti-ICE protestors — the overwhelming majority of whom are exercising their right to protest peacefully — an "insurgency," which is a useful and ominous pretext for his Dear Leader to invoke the Insurrection Act to sic military troops on US citizens. Fascism, with a capital F.

Bruce Springsteen issues a blistering challenge to ICE goons
During a surprise appearance at the Red Bank at the Light of Day Winterfest benefit in his home state of New Jersey, the Boss dedicated his song "Promise Land" — a hopeful tune about overcoming working-class struggles in America — to Renee Good, and launched into a blistering rebuke of Donald Trump's fascist assault on America: "We are living through incredibly critical times. The United States, the ideals and the values for which it stood for the past 250 years is being tested as it has never been in modern times. If you believe in the power of the law and that no one stands above it, if you stand against heavily armed masked federal troops invading an American city, using Gestapo tactics against our fellow citizens, if you believe you don’t deserve to be murdered for exercising your American right to protest, send a message to this president as the mayor of that city has said, ICE should get the fuck out of Minneapolis."
Trump has rolled out many of the Project 2025 policies he once claimed ignorance about
Trump once insisted he had "nothing to do with Project 2025," the 900-page, far-right, fever-dream policy manifesto that became a key flashpoint during the presidential campaign. A year later, many of the Heritage Foundation-backed policies have been implemented, from cracking down on immigration to dismantling the Department of Education. And we haven't even hit the one-year mark yet. Imagine that.
