John,
As we pause this month to honor Martin Luther King Jr., and to remember a leader whose vision reshaped our nation, we are also reminded of the ongoing work required to build a community rooted in dignity, fairness, and opportunity. |
Here in Connecticut, we are proud of the ways our residents, organizers, and public servants have carried that work forward. From early civil rights protections to local leaders who continue to push for equity in our schools, our neighborhoods, and our democracy, Connecticut has long believed in meeting the moment with action. Dr. King taught us that justice is a commitment we renew each and every day. As we look ahead to 2026, that lesson feels especially important. It calls on us to strengthen our communities, expand participation in our democracy, and ensure that every voice in our state is heard and valued.
Today, we honor Dr. King with resolve. May we continue striving toward the more just, inclusive, and compassionate future we all envision. Sincerely, Your CT Dems |
