Greetings!
We did it! This week the House of Representatives passed a bill with language I helped write to prohibit the Department of Veterans Affairs from funding these deeply disturbing experiments on dogs that have included forcing heart attacks, collapsing dogs’ lungs and drilling into their skulls.

American taxpayers are currently being forced to spend more than $15 billion on wasteful and painful, government-funded experimentation on animals, and I am determined to stop this massive waste of taxpayer dollars that harms animals!

This week was great progress to stop this once and for all! If you’d like to help us in this fight, a contribution of any amount would be much appreciated:
Thank you in advance!
Sincerely,

Subject: Action Needed: Protect Dogs From Painful Experiments
Greetings!
Did you know that American taxpayers are currently being forced to spend more than $15 billion on wasteful and painful government-funded experimentation on animals?

The Department of Veterans Affairs in particular has conducted deeply disturbing research on dogs. These sometimes fatal experiments have included inducing heart attacks, collapsing dogs’ lungs and drilling into their skulls. It’s sickening and absolutely unacceptable!

That’s why I’ve been fighting in Congress to stop this massive waste of taxpayer dollars that harms animals. Instead, the Department of Veterans Affairs should replace these cruel experiments with modern technology that can produce superior results without harming animals.

The good news is that later this week, Congress will be voting on legislation to do exactly that. If you agree Congress should pass this critical reform, please sign our petition ASAP before it's too late to influence the vote:
Thank you in advance!
Sincerely,
SSG Brian Mast, U.S. Army (ret.)
