I’ve spent my life standing up for working people. As an organizer, I built people-powered campaigns for affordable housing, education equity, and immigrant rights.
When I was elected to Colorado’s state Senate, I didn’t play it safe. I took on the towing industry, secured hundreds of millions of dollars to build and preserve affordable housing, and lowered the cost of prescription drugs.
Hickenlooper is a Washington insider backed by corporate donors and powerful special interests.
I’m backed by the hardworking people who built Colorado and make it what it is today.
And every day, it becomes more obvious that Hickenlooper’s go-along-get-along politics aren’t working for Coloradans. The cost of groceries, childcare, healthcare keeps rising, while politicians like him protect the same broken system.
This election is about whether we want a candidate who will fight for working people or someone who will keep letting billionaires and corporations call all the shots at our expense.
In Congress, I’ll fight for Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, abolishing ICE, and to get dark money out of politics so we can build an economy that works for everyone, not just the wealthy few.
That’s why I’m running to be Colorado’s next Senator (our first Senadora).
