John,
Late last week, the House took a step forward on health care.
After months of pressure, lawmakers voted to renew enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies — relief that helps families here in Massachusetts afford coverage and stay insured.
Seth has been on the front lines of this fight, pushing to protect coverage and lower costs while others tried to delay, deflect, or block action altogether. Last week’s vote shows what’s possible when leaders refuse to back down.
But this fight isn’t over. The Senate still needs to act, and families are still at risk of losing coverage if Congress stalls again.

And Seth’s not stopping there. He just introduced the Healthcare Reinvestment Act to redirect money away from ICE and into health care, instead of continuing to fund an agency that has been terrorizing people in communities across the country.
At a time when families are struggling to afford health care, Washington shouldn’t be sending more money to ICE instead.
