“Florida redistricting threatens to further erode Democrats’ power in state”

This is URGENT: Following Donald Trump’s plans to rig maps in Republicans’ favor, far-right extremist Gov. Ron DeSantis has officially called for a special legislative session to gerrymander Florida’s congressional maps!

POLITICO reported that DeSantis could create three to five additional GOP House seats ahead of the critical 2026 midterms – calling Florida a “crown jewel” for Republicans’ redistricting efforts.

Luckily, Democratic governors across the country are fighting back in the face of Trump and the GOP’s escalating threats to our democracy.

But they can’t do it alone. Gov. Gavin Newsom told supporters like you last month: “All of us will have a role to play in fighting back against Trump’s schemes.”
