But with Trump's authoritarian abuses of power escalating by the day, we need to make the next No Kings Day even bigger and more powerful than the first two.

Trump's masked army of ICE thugs is shooting people on the street with impunity.¹ He attacked Venezuela to steal their natural resources and is threatening to do the same in Cuba, Colombia, Greenland, and Mexico.²

Demand Progress Action recruited people to attend nearly 1,300 events for the No Kings protest in October, and we're aiming to go even bigger this time.

Harvard University political scientist Erica Chenoweth has shown that it only takes about 3.5% of the population actively participating in nonviolent protest to bring about major political reform.³That's about 11.5 million Americans, and the No Kings protest in October saw 7 million people join in.⁴

In other words, we're almost there.

The No Kings movement is a huge, diverse coalition coming together to defend democracy. No single organization can stop authoritarianism alone. But together, we've fought to rein in Trump's masked army of ICE agents, beat back his attacks on free speech, defend the integrity of the 2026 midterm elections, and more.

Here's the challenge: Organizing large protests like this requires a major investment of resources.

So as we prepare to help make the next No Kings Day the biggest day of protests ever, we're asking you to chip in whatever you can to support our No Kings organizing efforts, and push for other key reforms.
