Good morning John,

A new report from Channel 10 highlights what AEP Ohio is calling a settlement agreement that will cut customer electric bills. A claim the company is promoting as roughly a $60 million reduction and about $1.22 per month in savings for residential customers.

However the Ohio Consumer Counsel checked AEP Ohio's math. Households will  see a $30 increase per month when add on charges are factored back in. Check out the full story here.

This is exactly why we’re taking action.

On January 27 at 12:00 PM, we’ll gather at PUCO headquarters (180 E Broad St) to deliver petition signatures and show regulators that Ohioans are paying attention — and we don’t support AEP Ohio’s rate increase.
