Dear Supporter,

As a new subscriber, we wanted to show you the various ways that you can
get the facts on your candidates and public officials!

Current Services:

[2]

[3]I Spy

Visit [4]votesmart.org, and at the top of the page, type in the name of a
politician or your zip code, then use the magnifying glass to click on any
of the six fact files: [5]Biographies, [6]Key Votes, [7]Issue Positions,
[8]Ratings, [9]Speeches, and Funding.

Choose the politician you are interested in learning more about and then

[16]Search Tool

This search bar is, hands down, a great resource. You can access it near
the bottom of any page on our website.

We hope you enjoy exploring these services! Look for updates on our other
tools [17]VoteEasy, [18]MyVoteSmart, and the [19]2018 Voter's Self-Defense
Manual in the coming months. If you have a research question, you can call
our Hotline at: 1-888-VOTE-SMART (1-888-868-3762)

If you'd like to show your support for these services, you can [20]make a
tax-deductible contribution online or by phone at 515-989-6363.

Best wishes,

Walker McKusick

National Director

P.S. While our team strongly believes that all Americans should have access
to our data and services, we face a very real obstacle: funding. Since Vote
Smart only accepts money from the general public, foundations, and API
subscribers - as opposed to special interest groups or organizations that
lobby for specific candidates or issues - we need your help!

If you, too, believe that all Americans should have access to free,
factual, unbiased facts, [21]join us today.
