Hezbollah warning to Israel
Friend of Israel,


Hezbollah is a terrorist organization dedicated to Israel’s destruction.

Beyond warnings like the one above—issued in a new video that shows Hezbollah commandos training and firing weapons at targets that represent Israel—Hezbollah shows its intentions through action, like the continued buildup of its weapons infrastructure along Israel’s northern border.


This month, the Alma Research Center reported that 28 new Hezbollah missile launch sites were uncovered in the heart of Beirut, Lebanon.


The sites are embedded among homes, hospitals, offices and schools.


Hezbollah has a military arsenal stronger than most sovereign states and has threatened to strike strategic sites in Israel with precise accuracy.

In the same video as the quote above, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said that all Jews must leave Israel, saying the whole region, “from the river to the sea,” is the property of the Palestinians. It is because of dangers like this that AIPAC works to educate lawmakers and ensure Israel has the means to defend its citizens.

Recently, the House Appropriations Committee passed the Department of Defense funding bill, which includes important bipartisan measures AIPAC has lobbied for that will help keep Israel safe and America strong. These provisions include:

$500 million for U.S.-Israel missile defense cooperation.
-
$47.5 million for U.S.-Israel anti-tunnel technology cooperation.
-
$25 million for U.S.-Israel counter-unmanned aerial systems (UAS) cooperation.
This is a very important step in the legislative process to fund critical U.S.-Israel cooperative spending for Fiscal Year 2021 and another important step forward.
