Kristi Noem and the Trump administration cannot be trusted with human life.

Trump’s ICE agents have shot an American citizen in cold blood. They’ve ripped immigrants with no criminal record away from their families without any accountability. They’ve handcuffed and detained more than 170 American citizens.

Now, Secretary Kristi Noem wants to push the law even further — trying to block Congress from doing its Constitutional job of overseeing ICE. Under Trump’s new policy, I couldn’t even visit ICE facilities here in Colorado without giving the Department of Homeland Security a full week’s notice! A week — just to check on the safety of people in government custody!

Kristi Noem has failed us. She failed during the Texas floods, and she has failed us by using ICE to terrorize communities without any accountability, even after murdering a US citizen.

That’s why I just signed on to an impeachment resolution to remove Kristi Noem from her office. Impeachment isn’t something I take lightly — but it’s absolutely necessary.
