I’ve just reintroduced the Stop Wall Street Landlords Act , which would ban private equity firms from using taxpayer-funded loans to purchase single-family homes. By blocking these loans, we’d provide Americans with greater access to affordable housing and an opportunity to build wealth through homeownership, bringing us closer to restoring the American Dream.
Housing is not a luxury. It’s a human right. Let’s make sure every American, whether they own or rent, has a safe, secure, and affordable place to call home.
