John,

Last night the DOJ announced they’re investigating Governor Walz for
demanding transparency and answers following the fatal ICE shooting in
Minneapolis.

$5 today to help power our Legal Defense Fund and ensure we
can keep standing up for accountability, transparency, and justice.

Thank you,

Team Walz

John,

Two days ago it was Elissa Slotkin. Last week it was Jerome Powell. Before
that, Mark Kelly.

Now, the federal government has opened an investigation into me.

This comes after a federal ICE agent fatally shot Renee Good in
Minneapolis. But instead of focusing on accountability for that tragic
shooting, federal authorities are turning their attention toward a
governor who demanded transparency and answers.

The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is
the federal agent who shot her.

Weaponizing the justice system and threatening political opponents is a
dangerous, authoritarian tactic. It undermines public trust and distracts
from the real issue: a Minnesotan lost her life, and justice has yet to be
served.

I won’t back down from defending Minnesotans or standing up for the rule
of law. But these fights are expensive by design — meant to intimidate and
drain resources so people who speak up are forced to stop.

[ [link removed] ]If you’re able, please contribute $5 to our Legal
Defense Fund today and help ensure we can keep fighting for
accountability, transparency, and justice.

Thank you for standing with me in this moment.

I’m grateful,

Tim Walz
