Fellow activist,
In Pennsylvania, our work never stops. 2026 is another critical election year where Pennsylvania voters will be voting for: U.S. Representatives, Governor/Lt. Governor, PA Senate (half), and PA House. There are also four special elections happening throughout February and March to fill vacancies in four PA House Districts.
Team NPP will continue to engage Pennsylvanians year-round through consistent voter engagement, civic education, and mobilization.
Here’s a look at our 2026 priorities:
✅ Fund Slingshot The Podcast through 2026 as it proved to be a successful and innovative way to reach our centered communities and bring politics and culture together.
✅ Ramp up voter engagement through town halls, community events, and non-partisan candidate forums across the Commonwealth.
✅ Expand civic education and engage in advocacy around key issues, including the critical role of an independent judiciary; the need to raise the minimum wage; the disproportionate impact of environmental and climate harms on the communities we center; and the importance of protecting and expanding voting rights to make voting more accessible in order to build a more representative and reflective democracy.
✅ Lobby to pass a PA Voting Rights Act, codify voting rights for those who are justice-impacted, expand voting access to include same-day and true early voting, and to fight against restrictive voter ID laws.
✅ Launch a mobilization program ahead of the November general election to ensure our centered communities turnout to vote.
We have a lot of work ahead of us to build on our momentum from 2025 and continue to deliver wins for the Commonwealth, but we can’t do it alone.
