At the same time, Americans are paying attention, calling out our leaders, and stepping up. Dedicated people across the U.S. are joining the anti-hunger movement — not just by volunteering, but also by becoming advocates against hunger:
* Helping neighbors access grocery assistance programs they’re legally entitled to for support.
Verifying the hours and availability of community food programs as volunteer Data Detectives ([link removed]) .
Demanding leaders at every level ensure their constituents can feed their families without going into debt, turning off the heat, or rationing their healthcare.
** We all have a part to play in ending hunger in this country.
------------------------------------------------------------
** Here are three ways you can be a part of it right now:
------------------------------------------------------------
* Join the MLK Serve-A-Thon ([link removed]) in-person or virtually this weekend, or sign up to become a Data Detective ([link removed]) .
* Register for our free virtual panel ([link removed]) Monday night: Honoring MLK's Dream to End U.S. Poverty & Hunger.
* Make a monthly donation ([link removed]) of $3, $33, or $333, if you’re in a position to do so.
Dedicated people across the U.S. are making a difference in the fight against hunger. Thank you for being a part of this movement.
We’re glad to have you here. Stay tuned.
