The first day of session is typically reserved for pleasantries and procedures. This year was quite an exception. On the first day, the super majority moved four Constitutional Amendments through the House, and they will now be put up for referendum in the spring. These amendments are:
We were sent to Richmond with a clear message. Affordability. From the grocery store to utility bills, Virginians want relief. As the upcoming weeks unfold, my colleagues and I are going to work to bring your priorities into focus.
I am grateful to continue serving on the Appropriations, Transportation, and General Laws committees. These roles align with both my experience and our district’s needs, from addressing I-81, our main transportation artery, to funding critical infrastructure and delivering a balanced budget.
