Updates from D.C.

This week, I joined my colleague, Congressman Robin Kelly (IL-02) and 70 other Democrats, in calling for the impeachment of Kristi Noem.

It is time for her to go.

The facts are clear. This wasn’t a conspiracy. It was a documented assault on our democracy. Period. We’re talking about extremists like the leaders of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys—individuals with proven ties to white supremacy.

At the January 6th Subcommittee hearing, I spoke on the events of that day and the character of those involved. There isn't a “gray area” to debate when the facts are right in front of you. Watch my full remarks here.

The Administration has doubled down on racism, and I am not about to start sugarcoating the facts for anyone’s comfort. We all know the history of this country, and I refuse to sit here and watch it play out while injustice unfolds right before our eyes.

What we are witnessing in Minnesota isn't an “accident”. It is the reality this Administration has created for Americans. Renee Good should be alive today. I traveled to Minnesota to demanding answers, accountability, and justice.
