Friend,
I have some exciting news.
Today, I’m announcing my Michigan Hope Agenda. It’s my plan to support our economy and create good-paying job opportunities for all Michiganders.
Before I dive into the details, I want to ask: Do you believe Michigan deserves a senator who fights for every person in each and every community? If so, will you chip in $5 today to help power this grassroots campaign?
Now, about my Michigan Hope Agenda:
This plan is built on what I’ve learned from the diverse communities across Michigan I’ve connected with – not just on the campaign trail but throughout my life and career here in Michigan. It’s about putting my hand up to deliver real solutions for real people.
I did it during the Great Recession, when I served as chief of staff on President Obama’s auto rescue and helped save 200,000 Michigan jobs. I’ve done it in Congress, fighting to deliver for working families, small businesses, and especially Black and brown communities too often left behind.
And now, I’m doing it again.
The Michigan Hope Agenda is more than a policy platform – it’s a promise. A promise to fight for a Michigan that works for everyone – not just the well-connected.
It centers around seven key pillars:
1. Equitable federal investment so resources reach communities that need them most 2. Economic empowerment and access for workers and small businesses 3. Safer communities rooted in accountability and prevention 4. Health and family stability, with lower costs and science‑based care 5. Education, innovation, and a strong STEM workforce for the future 6. Clean water and modern infrastructure for all Michiganders 7. Affordable housing so families can build stable, secure lives
These priorities come straight from the voices I’ve heard at kitchen tables, churches, union halls, and schools across our state. They reflect what real people need and what we deserve from our leaders.
This campaign has always been about people. And it’s about making sure Michigan works for the communities that make it strong.
Launching the Michigan Hope Agenda is a step forward. But turning hope into action takes all of us. The stakes are high in Michigan: Senate control is on the line, and polls show I’m tied with my MAGA Republican opponent.
So I’ll end where I began: If you believe in this vision, and if you’re ready to fight for a better Michigan, will you chip in $5 today?
With grit, gratitude, and so much hope.
