It’s official: I’ve launched my reelection campaign for Mayor of Los Angeles — and I did it surrounded by hundreds of Angelenos from every corner of our city. Working families, small business owners, labor leaders, immigrant advocates, faith leaders, and community members came together because they believe in a stronger, safer, more affordable Los Angeles.

I’m running to keep doing the hard work of moving L.A. forward.

Together, we’ve delivered the first sustained decrease in homelessness in decades, made our city safer through innovative community safety strategies, accelerated tens of thousands of new housing units to make life more affordable, and stood strong against attacks on our immigrant communities. But there is still more to do.

This is a people-powered campaign, built from the ground up. And today, I’m asking you to take one simple step with me to build our grassroots power.
