On Fox News Channel's "Sunday Morning Futures," U.S. Sen. Katie Britt
(R-Montgomery) took Democrats to task over their negative reactions to the
capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro during Operation Absolute Resolve.

Britt contrasted the inaction of the Biden administration in Venezuela to
President Donald Trump's resolve and follow-through. She also noted how many
Democrats were in favor of taking out Maduro under Biden, only to now feign
outrage at his capture under Trump.

Britt works to find a path to fund DHS as Democrats push ICE reform

WASHINGTON — Congress is taking steps this week toward averting another
government shutdown, but funding the Department of Homeland Security has become
a thorny issue in that effort.

After an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent fatally shot Renee Good in
Minneapolis last week, some Democrats, angry with the Trump administration’s
immigration crackdown, are opposed to funding the agency without reforms.

Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., the chair of the Homeland Security Appropriations
Subcommittee, is negotiating with Democrats to find a pathway forward on the
bill before funding runs dry Jan. 30.

I didn’t run for Senate to sit on the sidelines. I’m a mom, a conservative,
and proud to stand for every corner of Alabama—our cities, small towns, and
rural communities alike.

I’m rooted in faith, built on family, and committed to making Alabama stronger
and better for generations to come.

Alabama is a place of hard work, strong values, and unyielding independence.
But the Left is trying to tear that all down. I didn’t come to Washington to
play games. I came to fight for every Alabamian who feels forgotten and left
behind.

Whether it’s securing our borders, protecting our children, or defending our
way of life, I’m here fighting for Alabama’s future.

This fight isn’t easy, but it's worth it. And I’m not going anywhere.

Will you stand with me?
