The State of the State is Strong

Dear John,

I was honored to join our elected leaders and Governor Braun for his 2026 State of the State address. One year into his administration, Governor Braun made clear his first priority is putting affordability first. With Indiana’s economy growing faster than every neighboring state, wages rising above the national average, and the cost of attracting new jobs cut to a fraction of what it once was, his message was clear: when our government focuses on jobs, wages, and responsible spending, Hoosier families win.

Governor Braun and our Republican leaders at the Statehouse are united around this mission. From historic property tax relief and holding utilities accountable to cutting red tape on housing, freezing tuition at public universities, reforming Medicaid, and eliminating waste across state government, our party is laser-focused on keeping more money in Hoosiers’ pockets.

Governor Braun Accelerates Life Sciences Leadership with More Than 1,300 New High‑Wage Jobs Across the State

Governor Braun highlighted three major life sciences expansions across Indiana that will create more than 1,300 new high-wage jobs, reinforcing the state’s leadership in biopharmaceuticals, medical devices, and advanced manufacturing.
