A teenager kidnapped from his job at Target, bloodied, and dumped in a parking lot.
A man driving to work whose car was rammed by ICE, his neighbors tear gassed, because he looked “illegal.”
A mother shot in the head while driving away, after dropping her son off at school.
All of this violence just this month. And these are just a few of many stories unfolding in Minnesota and across the country.
After treating our immigrant friends and neighbors inhumanely for years, ICE has ramped up their illegal attacks on all members of our communities, and they show no signs of stopping. On the contrary, they're only being emboldened by Donald Trump's full-throated support and threats to invoke the Insurrection Act to shut down lawful protests.
As we continue to fight for a government that will abolish ICE and end the terror for good, we need to take immediate action to support Minnesotans who are under attack right now.
Here are a few quick actions you can take right now to help reduce harm in communities under siege.
-
Keep Minnesotans fed. As many Minnesotans, particularly immigrants, are unable or afraid to leave their homes to go to work, local food banks need more resources to keep communities fed. Donate to Second Harvest Heartland, which has helped to provide more than 145 million meals across Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
-
Support organizations working on the ground to stop ICE. Pitch in to the Minnesota Immigrants Rights Action Committee (MIRAC) and the National Lawyers Guild MN. MIRAC has been organizing for years to protect and empower immigrants in the state, and the local chapter of the National Lawyers Guild provides significant legal aid to anti-ICE organizations in Minnesota.

Add your name to our petition to Keep ICE Out of Our Communities. We'll keep you up to date on more ways to get involved.
ICE doesn’t belong in our communities. These heavily-militarized, masked agents make all of us less safe as they do whatever and hurt whomever they want, knowing that the Trump administration has their backs all the way.
As more and more see ICE's indiscriminate violence and recklessness, more and more Americans are rejecting ICE. And there are far more of us than there are of them. It’s scary out there right now. But we will not allow ourselves to be scared into complacency or into silence.
In solidarity,
