August is a slow month for everybody, especially when it comes to the generous
donations that keep this campaign running. Folks are on vacation, they’re
enjoying the weather -- hey, we get it. But that doesn’t meanwe can take a
breather.

We’ve been looking over our projections and it looks like we’re behind on this
month’s fundraising goals -- very behind. That’s why we’re starting a $12,000
fundraising drive to catch up.

Our campaign is run on grassroots donations like yours. Can we count on you to
chip in $10 today? We’re going to need everyone’s help if we want to hit this
goal

With a public quarterly report on the horizon next month, we need to get a
jump on all the goals coming our way. Missing one deadline means we’re behind
all the way up until Election Day. That’s something we can’t let happen -- yes,
even in August!
