I’m running for Governor because Minnesota is facing a clear choice: chaos or cooperation.
President Trump was overwhelmingly re-elected on a promise to restore law and order, secure our border, and remove dangerous criminal illegal aliens from our communities. Yet here in Minnesota, Democrat leaders have chosen defiance over partnership—putting ideology ahead of public safety.
For years, they’ve bragged about turning our state into a so-called “sanctuary,” refusing to cooperate with federal law enforcement—even when it comes to arresting and removing violent criminals who never should have been on our streets in the first place.
That refusal has consequences. Anti-ICE rhetoric and “sanctuary” policies have created a climate of hostility that endangers federal officers, fuels tension, and leaves Minnesotans less safe. When state and local officials refuse to partner with the federal government, criminals exploit the gaps—and families pay the price.
As Governor, I will change course.
I believe Minnesota needs more law enforcement officers—not fewer—and that they should be empowered to cooperate with federal law enforcement to arrest and remove dangerous criminal illegal aliens. I will end the politics of defiance and restore a culture of cooperation with the President of the United States, regardless of party, so we can uphold the law and protect our communities.
Public safety isn’t partisan. The rule of law isn’t optional. And Minnesotans deserve a Governor who will stand up for both.
