Friend — Part of the story of ICE’s campaign of brutality across our country is their massive new stream of funding.

Billions and billions of dollars for Trump to build a personal police force that will carry out his bidding and punish his political enemies on his behalf.

Just look at how ICE funding has exploded since Trump and Republicans passed their new budget:

Here’s a comparison for you. ICE’s new budget is projected to be around $37 billion, about the same as Italy’s yearly military budget.

In fact, Australia, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Turkey, Spain — all but a small handful of countries spend less on their entire military than we are now spending on ICE.

It’s no wonder ICE is acting like an occupying army, terrorizing their own citizens on the streets of American cities.

Just imagine for a moment if we had a common sense approach to immigration that didn’t require such a bloated and wasteful agency like ICE. We could use that money to cover the Affordable Care Act subsidies that Republicans slashed and lower healthcare premiums. We could restore USAID, or Department of Education programs, or cancer research that Trump defunded.

This is why taking back Congress is the fight of 2026. When Republicans set the budget, they don’t put Americans first. They put the President first — and his squad of ICE thugs.
