Friend -- A new report from the Center for American Progress makes it clear that Republican gerrymandering and voter suppression go hand in hand.

"In recent years, gerrymandered legislatures have pioneered other tools to stay in power, including making it harder for voters who oppose them to cast a ballot. It is a power grab on top of a power grab."

PITCH IN TO HELP THE NDRC FIGHT BACK >>> [link removed]

As the report details, Republicans who gerrymandered themselves into unearned majorities aren't stopping at rigging the maps. In states like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina, they've used their ill-gotten power to pass restrictive voting laws and block reforms that would make voting easier.

And as A.G. Holder has said, "it's not a coincidence that you see the greatest amount of voter suppression where you see the greatest amount of gerrymandering." At the NDRC, it's our job to fight back on both fronts -- but we need your help to do it!

Will you make a donation to the NDRC today to help us defend voting rights and put a stop to Republican map manipulation in ALL of our target states?
