Friend –
The Justice Department is breaking the law. Every single day the Epstein
files remain hidden from the public is a day of delay, denial, deflection,
and injustice.
It has now been nearly one month since the legal deadline for the DOJ to
release its complete trove of Epstein-related files under the Epstein
Files Transparency Act. So far, the department has released less than 1
percent. And there is still no clear timeline or explanation for when the
rest will be made public.
This is a clear violation of the law. And it is a betrayal of the
survivors who deserve answers. Republicans on the House Oversight
Committee have a responsibility to act.

accountable! >>
Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie, the bipartisan authors of the
transparency law, have already taken the extraordinary step of asking a
federal judge to appoint an independent monitor. In their words, “The DOJ
cannot be trusted with making mandatory disclosures under the Act.”
They are not wrong. The Department has made conflicting claims about how
many Epstein-related files it possesses. First it said one million. Then
5.2 million. Then more than 2 million. Meanwhile, survivors and the public
are still being denied the truth.
The pressure is building. But so far, Republican leaders on the Oversight
Committee have refused to act.

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, led by Ranking Member Robert
Garcia, are demanding real answers. They want a public hearing with Bondi
to uncover why the Department continues to delay and deflect.
Republicans helped pass the transparency law. Now they must enforce it.
Every day they fail to act is another day of silence, secrecy, and
obstruction.
Thanks for speaking out,
