Join me for a Community Conversation

I want to start off by acknowledging what so many of us are feeling right now. The past week has been incredibly difficult. To start off the new year like this after all the darkness that 2025 brought has been incredibly hard to bear.
Right now, it’s hard to see how we are going to come out of this. While I don’t know what the path forward looks like, I do know that Minnesotans are resilient, we’re tough, and we fight for our neighbors.
When I need to find a sliver of light among the darkness, I know I can always turn to our neighbors. Gathering with people who share the same drive to be the change we want to see always recharges me in the way I need. That’s why I’m hosting a Community Conversation on February 2nd at 6:15pm so we can come together and talk about what’s on our minds.
I know that there’s a lot of fear in our community, especially among our neighbors who have been most harshly targeted recently. To ensure that anyone who wants to participate can do so safely, we will be adding a virtual component to this Community Conversation. You can register for the event and submit questions here. Registrants will receive the location or the Zoom link the morning of the event. I do also want to let you know that for everyone’s safety, there will be a Bloomington Police Officer posted outside the event.
