For over a year, I’ve heard from so many families across the district who are terrified for our country’s future. They’re terrified of Donald Trump’s ICE agents tearing their neighborhood apart. They’re terrified they won’t be able to afford health care for their kids. They’re terrified Donald Trump will never relinquish power after his term.

I want you to know that I share so many of these concerns. And I’m fighting Trump every step of the way. But despite it all — despite every illegal action by this administration, every excuse pushed by the Republican Party — I still feel hopeful for our country’s future. Here’s why:

You haven’t given up. If anything, your voice and your protests are louder than ever before — and I know Donald Trump hears it too.

And he’s going to hear it again, loud and clear, when millions of people like you go to the polls on Election Day in November.

But we can’t just assume this election will go well for us. We have to work. We have to fight. And we have to make sure every Coloradan across this must-win district understands the stakes. Will you help us do that by chipping in a grassroots donation? [[link removed]]

Listen, I wish money didn’t play such a huge role in our elections. But that’s the system we have to compete in — and it’s the system we have to win in. But if you’re not quite ready to donate, let me share a few other ways each of us can make a difference:

1. Call your representatives. I know it sounds cliche, but calling your elected officials really does make a difference. When constituents make enough noise, lawmakers listen. One single phone call may not sound like much… but your phone call on top of hundreds of others? Those make an impact.

2. Find your community. There are so many other people in your community who feel exactly the same way. Coloradans are scared — and ready to take action. When neighborhoods and communities get loud, stand together, and protest peacefully, Republicans notice. And it reminds them that each and every one of their actions has serious political consequences.

3. Share your story. These days, the news cycle moves so fast, it’s hard for any one story, any one unlawful action to truly stick out. That’s where your personal stories come in. If Trump’s health care crisis, his tariffs, his secret police, or anything else has impacted your family, tell people about it. Tell your neighbors, your coworkers, your local newspaper, and anyone else who will listen. Trump wants us to stay silent — don’t give him that satisfaction.

Finally, there’s one more way you can make a difference for your neighbors, your community, and your children’s futures — and I’m sure you know what’s coming. You can make a difference by supporting Democrats who believe in the same things you do — myself, or hundreds of others across the country. If that’s an action you can afford to take right now, I’d be extremely grateful. [[link removed]]
