Three years ago, I became an uncle for the first time.

My younger sister and my brother-in-law welcomed a beautiful baby girl
into the world – my niece Jane.

It’s been the joy of my life watching Jane grow into a kind, silly,
curious toddler. She loves music, books, and helping her mom cook in the
kitchen!

And she likes to help her Uncle Jimmy while he’s campaigning for the U.S.
Senate…

But I worry about the future Jane will inherit.

Will she grow up in a Texas that values her rights? Will she attend
well-funded public schools? Will she breathe clean air and drink clean
water?

This is why I’m in this fight. I’m fighting for a future for Jane and kids
just like her across Texas.
