As Michael Bennet's new campaign manager, I'm thrilled that my first order of business is to inform you that we reached our first mid-month goal of the year last night!

I want to express my personal gratitude to everyone who stepped up and pitched in any amount to help us make our first major deadline of the new year.

Reaching every single fundraising target from here on out is key to ensuring we have a big enough budget here at HQ to pay staff, fund outreach efforts and power Michael to victory – especially since he doesn't take corporate PAC money. Knowing we have committed folks like you on our side just proves to me that we've already got the grassroots momentum it takes to win this thing.

So, friend, thank you.

I’m so grateful to be on this team, and for those of you I haven’t met yet, I’d like to share a little bit about what Michael and I have in common.

For one, we're both avid hikers with a shared passion for preserving our state's unparalleled public lands and outdoor beauty for recreation. (I even trekked the 500-mile Colorado Trail in 2019!)

More than that, I've worked in Washington, too – and as a staffer, I was often frustrated by the lack of meaningful progress we could achieve for folks at home. So eight years ago, I left D.C. for Colorado to work at the state level, where we can and do make a real difference for communities on a near-daily basis.

And just like Michael, the reason I entered politics in the first place is that I have always believed that it is up to US to make our country a better place with better opportunities for our ourselves, our neighbors, and the next generation.

Our shared sense of duty is what first drew me to join Michael's team – and it's why I really feel that at this moment, he's exactly the leader we need.

With us on his side, I fully believe Michael will be the governor who stands up to Trump, rebuilds our middle class, and makes Colorado the best state to live, work and raise a family. So I couldn't be prouder to be a part of this people-powered team, and I hope you'll stick with us all the way to the finish line.

But donating toward our $60,000 goal for our even bigger upcoming deadline on Jan. 31. is the BEST way you can ensure we have the grassroots resources to cross it first on election night.
