Adelita S. Grijalva | Representative CD7 & Community Advocate
A lifelong Southern Arizona leader and Tucson native, Adelita S. Grijalva has dedicated over two decades to public service, from the TUSD Governing Board to the U.S. House of Representatives. She made history as the first Latina to chair the Pima County Board of Supervisors, where she earned a reputation for building powerful coalitions to address the housing crisis and climate resiliency. A fierce champion for working families, she successfully launched the county’s first free preschool program for low-to-middle income families and secured historic investments in affordable housing. From her 25-year tenure with Pima County Teen Court to her defense of Mexican-American Studies, Adelita remains a steadfast voice for restorative justice, environmental protection, and ensuring Arizona’s women in labor have a permanent seat at the table.

Miranda Schubert is a media professional and dedicated activist with 15 years of experience in higher education empowerment. As the founder of Tucson for Everyone and co-founder of the Transit for All Coalition, she is a leading voice for equitable housing and public transit. A proud union member of UCWAZ - CWA Local 7065 and a City of Tucson Council Member, Miranda combines a strong labor perspective with deep community service, from volunteering at Casa Maria Soup Kitchen to skating with the Tucson Roller Derby.

Selina Barajas | Candidate for Tucson City Council Member Ward 5 ∣ Community Advocate
A fourth-generation Tucsonian and urban planner, Selina Barajas centers her work on community-driven development and environmental justice. As a Program Manager for Mountain Mamas and co-owner of Luna y Sol Café, she advocates for housing affordability, sustainable spaces, and the protection of public lands for underserved families. Dedicated to celebrating Tucson’s heritage while building a safe, inclusive future for the next generation, Selina empowers local neighborhoods to lead without permission and stay rooted in their stories.
