The General Assembly has passed our amendment to enshrine abortion rights in the state constitution! It has been a long road to get to this point, and we are so excited that we are now one step closer to protecting abortion access for generations to come.
This work matters now more than ever. Without constitutional protection, reproductive rights remain vulnerable to shifting political winds and the decisions of elected officials who could roll back access or ban abortion altogether. Thanks to your support, we are closer than ever to making those rights permanent.
We can’t afford to slow down now – next up, our amendment will appear before voters this November, who will have the final say in enshrining reproductive rights in the VA constitution.
