Hi John, it’s April.

As we start a new year, I wanted to check in and share where things stand and what comes next.

▶️ Last election, Maryland’s 6th District was one of the most competitive races in the state. We won this seat by staying focused on the issues that matter most to Marylanders.

▶️ I’m doing the job you sent me to Congress to do. I am standing up for federal workers, supporting our agricultural communities, and pushing back when powerful interests try to undermine the institutions Maryland families rely on. Because of that work, a recent poll shows our campaign starting this year in a strong position.

▶️ Now, I’m gearing up for what may be the most competitive Democratic primary in our state. Billionaire David Trone has entered the race, and there is no question that this will be an expensive contest that will draw significant attention and resources.

Strong early support gives us a real advantage. But staying strong means continuing to build now so we are prepared for a competitive primary ahead.
