Good news: COVID-19 hospitalization growth remains negative in Houston. We aren’t out of the woods yet, but hospitalization data from Texas Medical Center this week is encouraging. We must keep it up - do our part to wear masks and social distance - to keep bending this curve down. Together we can beat this and make sure we never lock down again.

‪When politicians advocate for new lockdowns in the face of a spike in COVID-19 cases, they are ignoring the severe consequences of this misguided action. Businesses close, jobs disappear, domestic violence skyrockets, and livelihoods are destroyed when you lockdown the economy - it is the costliest option to deal with this pandemic and it is unacceptable. 

That's why I continue to speak out strongly against the idea of lockdowns. By taking targeted solutions and personal precautions, we can get through this without locking down our society again. 

China has shown they’re an enemy of the United States. The State Department was right to take strong action against the Chinese Consulate in Houston, which has been known to be a hub of spying operations in the United States. The Communist regime is clearly willing to spy on Americans and steal our intellectual property, and the burning of documents raises serious questions about what exactly the CCP is trying to hide.

Moreover, China's lies, cover up, and propaganda throughout the COVID-19 pandemic has cost American lives and livelihoods. We also  know the CCP is actively trying to disrupt our efforts to research a treatment to the virus they unleashed upon the world.
