July is a notoriously difficult month for political fundraising and this one has been no different. We fell short of our weekly goal last night and now, we have no choice but to switch gears and hope we don’t lose any more ground.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump and the Republicans are breaking fundraising records left and right — building a massive campaign war chest to attack Democrats in the final stretch of this election.

Heck, Trump’s campaign just dumped $14.1 million on TV ads in Minnesota — and we’re nearly 100 days out from Election Day. The timing is not ideal, which is why I have to ask:
