Before we ask you to chip in to ensure we don't fall short of our first mid-month fundraising deadline of 2026, we need to be honest with you about what's happening right now:

The Trump administration is throwing a political tantrum and targeting Colorado directly.

Most recently, the Department of Health and Human Services announced it's freezing funding for child care, families in crisis, and essential social services through programs like the Child Care Development Fund, TANF, and the Social Services Block Grant. At the same time, a big project to secure clean water in the state got vetoed by the president himself, and our state is facing retaliation for not bending the knee to the GOP's illegal voter suppression practices.

While a federal judge just blocked Trump's attack against our safety net services, Diana knows this won't be the last time he lashes out against Colorado. But she has never shied away from a bully, and she's not going to stop fighting for us, even if the person she's fighting is the president himself. She won't stay quiet while Washington politicians try to punish our families for petty, childish, political reasons. But speaking truth to power and fighting back takes resources.
