From shelter life to family walks — this sweet Husky found her place.

Hello Jack,

Alba first left the shelter for a Doggie Day Out. Then another. And another.

Each time, her future family got more attached. They walked her through parks, brought her into stores, and told strangers she was adoptable.

But when the shelter called to say someone else wanted to meet her, they realized they couldn't give her up. They adopted her.

The first few weeks weren't easy. Alba wouldn't come inside. She avoided the hardwood floors. She wasn't housebroken. Her new family worried it might not work out.

But they saw something in her. They added rugs, took her out every two hours, and celebrated every small step forward.

Alba came around. She settled in. She knew she was home.

Now she greets them at the door, begs for treats, and loves a good neck rub. And every day, they're glad they gave her the chance.

Thank you for helping stories like this come true.
