London office volunteer  

Suitable for those who live in London and can donate some time during CND’s office hours during the week. Tasks include making placards and helping pack for demonstrations, posting out leaflets and information to supporters, and supporting staff with admin tasks.  

Demonstrations and events  

CND participates in regular demonstrations in London and holds in-person events throughout the year. If you can help with stewarding, transporting our stall to and from the office, staffing the stall at demonstrations, or handing out placards, get in touch.

Videography volunteers 

CND is looking to increase its video output in 2026 and we need volunteers with experience in making short form content for our social media and longer form videos about our campaigns and events. If you have skills in filming, editing, or social media, get in touch with a summary of your experience and some examples of your work.  

School speakers with CND Peace Education  

CND’s Peace Education programme is looking for school speaker volunteers to deliver assembly talks and facilitate classroom workshops on peace and nuclear weapons issues. These positions would suit people with an interest or background in education, working with children and young people, peace and conflict issues, nuclear issues, training and public speaking.  

The areas where volunteers are needed include: London, South East, South West, North East and North West.  

Potential volunteers must be able to commit 1-2 school sessions a month, depending on demand from schools in your area. Sessions take place Monday - Friday during school hours. Talks and workshops usually last for 1 hour, although a school may wish to have more than one session in a day. Travel and reasonable refreshment expenses will be reimbursed.
