She has devoted her entire career to expanding access to healthcare and opportunity for people and communities facing the greatest barriers. As Kathleen puts it, “I believe in standing with the most vulnerable people, wherever they live, to ensure they have the chance to thrive.”

That commitment is what drew her to Orbis and our mission to deliver sustainable eye care where it is needed most and where it can have the greatest impact. “By strengthening local systems and delivering world-class training,” Kathleen says, “we can help ensure that underserved communities have lasting access to sight-saving care and help change millions of lives in a relatively short time.”
