This can’t be a factor on Election Day:
No American should have to choose between voting and protecting their health. We won’t allow it.

Don't leave our democracy at risk

We have been promised a government of, by, and for the people. Will we have that this Election Day?
Americans are suffering. The communities that have been hit hardest and worst by the COVID-19 pandemic were already vulnerable, thanks to – among other key factors – the climate crisis and environmental degradation.
But absolutely no American should have to choose between voting and protecting their health. We’re not going to let that be a factor this Election Day.
Take action today, and tell the Senate: Give states the funding they need to ensure safe and secure elections in November.

Throughout our history, the right to vote has been intentionally withheld in order to silence America’s most marginalized communities. But only when everyone has equitable access to the polls will we have a democracy that truly reflects American communities across racial and socioeconomic divides.
America can’t rely on a one-size-fits-all approach. We can’t ignore our differences. We need to recognize – and not just accommodate, but welcome – our fellow citizens who have been disproportionately impacted by the epidemic, who don’t have steady Internet access, who need assistance voting in their primary language, and whose disabilities mean they rely on voting machines for their voice to count.
2020 has been unsteady and unpredictable. We’ve had to face our own fragility as a country in so many ways.
But we cannot allow our elections to be fragile. We need bold, comprehensive action that will not only help states prepare for this year, but safeguard a more fair and equitable democracy for years to come.
Join us in demanding that the Senate protect the most fundamental tenet of our democracy by funding safe and secure elections.
