Dear A.,
The United States imposed new sanctions today on the architects of the Iranian regime's brutal crackdown on protesters, as well as on the shadow banking networks that fuel the regime's oppression apparatus and other malign activities.
"The United States stands firmly behind the Iranian people in their call for freedom and justice," Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent

said . " Treasury will use every tool to target those behind the regime’s tyrannical oppression of human rights."

Secretary Bessent confirmed yesterday that the regime's leaders have begun moving "tens of millions of dollars" out of the country as the Iranian rial continues to plummet in value.
"We are now seeing the rats fleeing the ship, because we can see millions, tens of millions of dollars being wired out of the country, snuck out of the country by the Iranian leadership. So they are abandoning ship, and we are seeing it come into banks and financial institutions all over the world," he

When asked today about possible kinetic action against the Iranian regime, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that, "all options remain on the table."

Following reports that the regime has killed well over 12,000 protesters, the

U.N. Security Council has scheduled an emergency meeting to discuss the deadly protests at the request of the United States.
The actual number of protesters murdered may be higher and is difficult to verify, as the internet and communications blackout that began

over one week ago is still in effect.
Disturbing videos coming out of Iran show body bags of murdered protesters being

loaded onto trucks to be moved out of hospitals due to a lack of storage space.
The United States must continue to impose maximum pressure on the Iranian regime and hold it accountable for the slaughter of tens of thousands of peaceful protesters.

Urge your members of Congress to speak out in support of the brave Iranian protesters and condemn the brutal regime for violently suppressing them.

WSJ op-ed: Iran Cracks Down. Where Are the Western Protests?
Former Wall Street Journal editor-in-chief Gerard Baker
[link removed]
penned an op-ed for the paper questioning the lack of Western protests against the Iranian regime's crackdown on protesters, despite mobilizing en masse against Israel’s actions in Gaza.
"As the people of Iran brave another intensifying crackdown by their rulers after another effort to reclaim their basic rights from one of the world’s most repressive regimes, my question is: Where are the protests in the West? Specifically [those] so active on the streets of New York, London, Sydney, Rome and elsewhere the past two years? Where are the demands for justice and freedom for the downtrodden victims of a brutally repressive state?"
"Over the past two weeks, the clash between good and evil has seemed to be approaching a climax, and the brutality has escalated. Where are the student radicals disrupting classes?... Where is the International Criminal Court’s crack team of lawyers to investigate crimes against humanity and issue indictments against Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, and Masoud Pezeshkian, the country’s president?"
"Perhaps part of the reason for the silence is that people aren’t getting the information out of Iran that they need to get them off their backsides and into the streets. In the U.K. there has been criticism that the BBC and other major media organizations spent days playing down or even ignoring the dramatic events in Iran."

PIJ holding last murdered hostage's body in Gaza
The body of Ran Gvili is being held by Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) in the Hamas-controlled portion of Gaza, according to an Israeli official.
"Islamic Jihad took him, and inside Islamic Jihad, there is a group of people who know where Ran is. Hamas knows how to put the pressure on Islamic Jihad, and they are not doing it," the official

said that the return of Ran's body is a top priority and that "Hamas is required to meet the terms of the agreement to exert 100% effort for the return of the fallen hostages, down to the very last one, Ran Gvili, a hero of Israel."
The United States must increase the pressure on Hamas and its sponsors in Qatar, Turkey and Iran to fully comply with the agreement and release Ran's body.

IDF carries out strikes on Hezbollah
The IDF carried out a series of strikes on Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon, a further sign that the terrorist group has not been fully disarmed despite the claims of the Lebanese government.
The military

said the strikes were "in response to Hezbollah's repeated violations of the ceasefire understandings." The IDF has carried out at least five separate strikes on Hezbollah targets over the past week.
The United States must continue to increase the pressure on Lebanon to fulfill its stated commitment to fully disarm Hezbollah.
