**Public Hearing Notice**

The Legislature’s Appropriations and Financial Affairs Committee will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, January 20, at 1:00 p.m. on LD 2094, An Act to Authorize a General Fund Bond Issue to Support Maine’s Agricultural and Forestry Sectors.

This proposed bond would invest in the long-term strength of Maine’s farming and forestry sectors, supporting working lands, rural economies, and the local food systems that benefit people across the state.

Public input is an essential component of the legislative process. Farmers, foresters, food producers, businesses, and members of the public are encouraged to participate by attending the hearing or submitting written testimony.
