‌John, I know I ask a lot of you.

I ask because I believe deeply in what we’re fighting for and because I know you do, too. Our country means too much to each and every one of us to sit back while an administration risks everything we hold dear for the personal gain of the few.

In moments like this, I turn to scripture for clarity and strength. Proverbs 27:17 says: "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." To me, that’s what being an American in times of trial is all about. We're meant to strengthen one another — to remind our neighbors and our nation that we will not let those who seek to divide, exploit, or do harm succeed.

That's why I'm working every day to help Democrats running in some of the toughest races in the country. If we're going to flip the Senate this November, it's going to take all of us sharpening one another and lifting each other up. I hope I can count on you to play a part.

I'm asking for your support before our first mid-month deadline of the year tonight. Will you join me in this fight with a contribution? Anything you can spare will be met with so much gratitude >> [link removed]

Thank you,

Chris
