The Texas Department of Insurance adopts updates to the "Texas Statistical Plan for Residential Risks" and the "Texas Private Passenger Automobile Statistical Plan."

The updates implement new reporting requirements in House Bill 2067 (89R, 2025) for insurers' reasons for declining, canceling, or nonrenewing coverage and the number of each coverage decision.

TDI also adopts new rules to adopt by reference the updated statistical plans.
