Hi there,
Theresa Greenfield is one of four women we've endorsed who can flip Senate seats this fall and deliver the Democratic majority.
Polls show her race in a statistical dead heat, so Theresa has never needed the support of the EMILY's List community more.

Here are a few facts about Theresa, the race she's running, and why she's the right person to represent Iowa in the Senate:
FIRST: Theresa was widowed as a young mom, while pregnant with her second son. She relied on Social Security benefits to keep her family on its feet while she rebuilt their lives. For Theresa, the social safety net is personal. She will be a fierce defender of these protections, which Republicans are intent on slashing.
SECOND: Theresa's opponent, first-term Senator Joni Ernst, is an outspoken member of the anti-choice movement. She has attended marches, given speeches, and, most importantly, voted to pass legislation aimed at stripping reproductive rights and ending the right to choose. Theresa knows that reproductive care is health care, and will bring her much-needed pro-choice perspective to the Senate floor.
THIRD: We trust the women who trust Theresa. Senators Kamala Harris (CA), Elizabeth Warren (MA), Amy Klobuchar (MN), and Rep. Abby Finkenauer (IA-01) are just some of the EMILY's List women who are standing with Theresa and want her voice in Congress. They know that when pro-choice Democratic women are at the table, better decisions get made.
Theresa is the right choice for Iowa women and families and we know she can flip one of the four seats we need to turn the Senate blue.
