We took office with a single promise: Leave no one behind.

Not the family choosing between rent and groceries. Not the high school
graduate wondering what comes next. Not the child who doesn’t feel safe on
their own street.

In the last three years, we’ve made real progress on that promise.

We’ve created nearly 100,000 jobs, made historic investments in public
education, and worked with everyone to bring crime down to historic lows.

But progress doesn’t mean our work is finished,
John xxxxxx. In Maryland, we don’t sit
still.

That’s why I’m proud to tell you that we hit every single one of our fundraising goals, and
are prepared to hit the ground running this legislative session.

For this year’s agenda, we’re focusing on kitchen table issues: Work,
wages, and wealth. I’ll work with the General Assembly to lower costs on
everything from groceries to housing to energy bills. We’ll attract new
businesses to Maryland, set our students up for success, and make sure
people feel safe in their communities.

While the federal government is attacking our people, here in Maryland we
defend them.

I know we’re living through a time of heightened political tension, but
thanks to folks like you who believe in our mission, we can do better than
